Kamusta kayo lahat! Another crazy week in the phillipines. I hope everyone is going great and keeping safe. Miss kayong lahat!
Tuesday-
Today was a sad day because of the news my roomates were going home early. We had a district leadership meeting and it was an emotional one because we said goodbye to are roomates. On the brightside after are meeting we had so many great lessons and new intrested people that we found. One lady we have been teaching is so close to baptism I can taste it. She is awesome she attends church every sunday and every invitation will give she does. Next baptism were crossing our fingers
Wednesday-
Tagalog is a very very hard language so I celebrate when I have small improvements haha. Today I led a lesson in tagalog and it was a little bumpy but I felt really good once I finished speaking. Maybe fillipinos are just so nice but they told me they understood me haha will take the small victories. After are lesson we were walking the streets and I saw that the kids just got out of school. This is a scary time for me because last time I got swarmed by children haha. We walked past basically the whole school and they all chanted “WHITE BOY WHITE BOY” I was embarrsed because it made a big scene and everyone was staring at me. It was really funny tho.
Thursday-
We got new roomates to replace are old ones. They are both white dudes so it was weird cause I’ve been living with 4 fillipinos. They are studs tho one is from Canada and the other is from Arizona. Most of the day consist of weekly planning. I can’t lie it’s super boring weekly planning but It does help alot. We went and got some dinner later in the night and as I was ordering some food this girl came up to me tugging on my shirt over and over again. She stuck out her arms begging me for money. I remembered her from last week she tried getting my money last time. It’s very awkward because I was taught by my trainers to pretend there not there. It’s hard tho when she is tugging on my shirt haha.
Friday-
We had a very long day today. We had a meeting for 2 hours that I have to sit in because my trainers are zone leaders. After we went to Saint Lukes hospital because my companion has a skin condition. This hopital is massive and was packed with people. We were there waiting for hours to talk to the docter and they said we needed to come back next week. We were not happy. Also I’m sorry I talk about rats so much but I just need to inform you guys when I see massive rats. Today as I was walking the streets to a members home I saw the biggest rat ever. I didnt know they could get this big. It looked like the rat from the ninja turtles it even went into the sewer so maybe it was.
Saturday-
Today we were all in pain. My companion woke up feeling a little sick so we kinda moped around tell around 3 because he wasn’t feeling good. Once we went out to go to some of are appointments my stomach started killing. My stomach hasn’t adjusted to the food here yet so it hurts a little everyday. It’s my fault tho I look back at some of the stuff we eat and it makes me ashamed of myself haha. We literally buy meat that people sell on the side of the streets. It sits there all day in the sun and has a little fan hitting it so the flies stay off it. I think I need to go grocery shopping.
Sunday-
This has been one of the best Sunday’s yet! The other day we were teaching this man named Mark and 5 of his grandkids. Mark is not a member but his grandkids are. The grandkids parents are not active anymore so the kids havnt been to church in years. We invited them all to church on Sunday. Sadly Mark couldn’t come because he slept in haha but all his grandkids were there! They took a motorcycle side cart all the way to the church by themselves. It shocked me cause the oldest is 11 and the youngest is 6. They were so happy to see us and they said they had a great time at church.
Enos 1:15
“Whatsoever thing ye shall ask in faith, believing that ye shall receive in the name of Christ, ye shall receive it.”
I really love this verse I think I shared it twice in are teachings this week. This verse shows us how powerful faith is. It’s so amazing that if we have faith that Heavenly Father hears and answers are prayer we will receive an answer.

Oii tudo mundo!! What’s up everyone?? How are y’all doing!? All is well over here sorry for the late email we didn’t have P-day on Monday cause we get to go to the temple today!! But this last week was awesome!! We’ve been seeing many miracles with this shift of focus to our members!!
This past week we have been helping the ward with clearing our member records!! We’ve found 3 more part-member families who have been willing for us to come back to continue to teach them!! We were out knocking some dots and ran into this one family who didn’t want anything to do with the church and it’s only been a few months and we knocked their dot yesterday and she was super supe happy we came by and just let us share a message with them!! I don’t know what it is but tender mercies like this one have been happening all transfer!! The Lord really has prepared the hearts of these members to come back and it’s been so fulfilling helping the lost sheep come back to the fold!!
Well, this week I’ve been studying the Pearl of Great Price!! And holy cow it’s insane!! I decided to study it in preparation for the temple and my testimony of the creation has been strengthened!! God truly organized and created this earth perfectly!! I know Heavenly Father loves each one of us personally on a level we can’t comprehend!! We were made in His own image and His plan is perfect, without flaw, and as we trust in Him we will never be led astray!!
“And lo, I am with thee, even unto the end of thy days…” (Moses 1:26)
He is with us always and as a loving Father knows how to help us when we need help!! I love this work and I love being a missionary!! I hope you guys have a great week!! Love you all!!

Kamusta kayo lahat!! I hope evryone is doing great. I miss you all. The week was my first week in the feild. So it was alot to take in haha.
Wednesday-
Today was my first day in the feild. I left the MTC early in the morning and traveled to the mission office/ home in manila. When I arrived I met the Mission President and his wife. I love them already they are such great people. We had a few hours of Oreintation and were taught a few things that happen in the feild. After all the clasees I met my trainers. Elder Rosete and Elder Agbisit. They are zone leaders! They don’t speak alot of english so thats super fun hahah. We arrived to are little aprtment wich was very humbling to see. Besides the rats and cockroaches that live in the house it’s great haha.
Thursday-
Woke up and went to a 4 hour ZL meeting because my comps are zone leaders. It was very long but it was good to get to know the mission president more. We went to a huge mall that was 4 stories. We needed to buy a charger for are phone that we share. This was my first time in public and I was getting a few dirty looks here and there haha.
Friday-
Crazy day today!!! An American Elder crashed at are place with his comp. The next morning he had his bags packed and was going home after 2 months of being here. So there goes my fellow American. His companion lives with us now. We have been working in a companionship of 4. Me and three fillipino elders it’s awesome.
Saturday-
Got alot of work done today! My companions bought me this street food for breakfast in the morning. It was tofu with brown sugar water. It was the weirdest thing ever and after I ate it my stomach was in pain. Oh I forgot to mention that missionaries havn’t been In this area for 2 months so we have zero idea what were doing haha. We found a member and they took us all around mebers home to talk to them. Kids in the streets when the see me either run away from me or run up to me and give me high fives and talk to me haha. One little kid ran up to me and handed me a note he wrote. I get alot of looks.
Sunday-
First Sabbath day in my ward!! We are the new missionaries in the Area so the bishop had us bare are testimonies. I forgot that I have to speak tagalog now so I gave my full testimony in tagalog. It was crazy to speak in front of people because I know my tagalog is so broken. It went really well. We met alot of good people and many intrested people.
Monday- First pday sa feild. Started out on a great note. We had no more water and food. We ran out of money. Luckily we gathered enough money to buy some water and rice to eat for the day. President challenged us to find two people today even tho it’s are pday. So we went out and its so amazing how willing people are to talk and let us in there homes. We met an old lady and she was so happy that we shared a message with her. She said that if we didn’t stop her she wouldn’t of been able to here a message about Jesus christ and she wanted to read the book of morman. This was music to are ears haha. She wants to visit with us soon. Oh yeah during are message a rat the size of my dog passed by me. I took a second look cause I thought it was a cat because there are so many here wild. But no it was a giant rat. Then to make it worse I get home and there is a rat chillen in are kitchen. Thought it was a scene from ratatouille and he was gonna cook us dinner in are kitchen haha.
3 nephi 12:48
48 Therefore I would that ye should be perfect even as I, or your Father who is in heaven is perfect.
We will be made perfect just like are savior Jesus christ. If we endure it well and keep are sacred covenants with thee we will be perfect and have everlasting life
