Okay okay so this week we visited our friends iris and Andrea. They are THE BEST. Iris is now over 75 years old but in her 30’s she went to the LDS church for about 2 years. Something happened in her family and never came back. Im not sure if its normal for missionaries or not but our friends usually are not too excited to see us. But they always are!!! They feed us lunch and they remembered i love tajin and wanted to buy some and they bought some for me and surprised me!!! This Sunday they both came to church! I was SO SO happy!!!! I love them so much and I hope they keep coming! We also visited Thais! We did just find out that her mom wont give permission to be baptized so we are a little sad about that. But!!!! Were going to keep trying!! She was so excited for her baptism and both her older siblings are members, so we hope that can convince the mom for permission anyways
We also did blitz with the hermanas de heredia! That was so much fun. I was with hermana Call. Holy love that girl.
All and all it was such a great week!! I loved on Sunday hearing a talk from the sweetest girl in our ward. She just got set apart as a service missionary. She shared her sweet testimony about Jesus Christ. And how missionaries represent him. It touched my heart and reminded me of my calling. Im so grateful that Im able to have the name of Jesus Christ on my tag. To represent him and be an example of him. Of of the biggest ways Ive seen Jesus touch the lives of people we find everyday is through love and charity. When I show love to others I know they can feel the love of Jesus Christ. Im so grateful for my savior and for his perfect example in our lives. He loves us more that we can imagine and knows us individually!!🤍
